I rented a kayak with clear frame from Clear Kayak Adventures. It was a blast. The schedule was unfortunate – it was a windy and cloudy day, at very low tide. But the video still shows what you would otherwise see on a normal day with better sunshine. It think all fish were scared away when the boat coasted only inches above them – low tide. The whole reef was surprisingly uniform in height, not to mention it’s just a stone’s throw away from the Ala Moana Beach.
